A community set to become the epicentre of Melbourne’s north-west, life at Botania offers the perfect blend of serenity and urban convenience.
Together with the neighbouring community of Deanside, the region will soon be home to 40 local parks and conservation reserves, giving residents the unrivalled opportunity to live in an urban environment surrounded by natural open spaces.
The community will also be serviced by a network of carefully designed pedestrian and cycling tracks, promising seamless connection to surrounding areas and amenities.
In more exciting news for our region, final plans for the nearby Kororoit Creek Regional Park are expected to be completed this spring.
Developed as part of the Victorian Government’s Suburban Parks program, the Kororoit Creek Regional Park is only 5 minutes from Botania and spans over 215ha, promising over 100 AFL fields worth of luscious green space. There will also be a 45 hectare conservation area beside the new park, creating a combined 260 hectares of new green space.
In collaboration with the Victorian Government, local council and the traditional owners of the land, the park will provide critical habitat for native flora and fauna, including endangered grassland species, river red gums and the Growling Grass Frog.
For visitors, the park offers a versatile space to relax and engage amongst nature, with walking trails, open-play areas, picnic spaces and more.
With works set to commence at the end of 2022, subject to land acquisition, there’s never been a better time to join the exciting community of Botania.
